Inspirations from my Dad.
As I wrote in my bio my father was a great inspiration in my life. These are some of the things he made by hand. The sleds are to scale and made with tongue depressors or popsicle sticks. I can’t remember what the scale dimensions were after all these years. The scale model of the house is of the one we lived in which he built himself. Again I don’t remember what the scale is. I do remember him sitting in his shop with files, and sandpaper making each little piece of lumber. He would sand a little then check his dimensions with a set of micrometers. He didn’t finish the model before he passed (the home is a two story). Thought you would enjoy. Thanks.

I could not get this to post under a blog sorry.

That’s the kind of thing you hope your children will be smart enough pass along to THEIR children. Very Nice!

Beautifully done miniature work Dale. I find that the smaller the work, the more difficult. I’m sure you have inherited your fathers love of precision which we see in your own work.

Sorry to hear about your Dads passing. Very nice tribute. I remember popsicle sticks & elmers glue as a kid. I never did anything as talented as these tho.
