the small hammer i made completly from scratch it works great for adjusting planes and other small tasks it weighs about 4 oz. the handle is made from jatoba and the head is steel and brass with the brass end being removable. The large hammer i only made the handle. It is made from cedar so it isn’t a heavy duty framing hammer but it is more than strong enough for general wood working
