These are some jewelery boxes. Made for Christmas gifts.
Only a piece of branch cut through with a saw, then another cut to the cover, with the drill and a wick of 1 1/2 give the center. Another hole for the dowel which articulates the lid. He finished with two coats of lacquer.
The dark is a very hard wood used as post for wire fences or support of railroad track: quebracho colorado (Schinopsis Lorentzii). The others are a little used wood because it reaches large size and is difficult to obtain by large spines: Vinal (Prosopis ruscifolia). Is half hard.
The base is just for the photo.

I have to say “I like rustic”. These are great. They preserve the natural beauty that nature gave. Thanks for sharing.
