This is a cat litter box holder made for a fund raiser for Tails Humane Society, our local no-kill shelter which places hundreds of animals in homes each year. They do an annual fund raiser so I made this to donate to them for a silent auction. It is made of red oak and walnut. The case is approx. 20” wide by 24” long and 19” tall. The top is hinged for easy access to the litter box. It could also be used for a bed for cats or small dogs if desired. It can be set up as an end table or night stand with the inside used by a pet. The finish is sanding sealer and lacquer, two coats each, sprayed.

Great work and for a great cause! Good for you. I’m sure it sold very quickly and High price to boot. I made a dog dish holder for a therapy group my lab works for and was surprised how much money it made for the charity! You’ll have to let us know how well you did…Congrats!

Nice build and good cause.

However one I made for our cat was not too successful. The cat would go in turn around a couple of times and poop out the door. LOL The cat was getting old and possibly senile.

My cats would love it. They love the door, my knuel posts on stairs, the door jambs. LOL! Nice build. Great reason!
