My granddaughter and I made these hand prints for her Mommie an Grandma for Mothers Day.
The idea came from a post by pinkhandcufffgirl a month or so ago, she gave me the ok to copy the idea (thanks!).
The wood is from an old desk that i tried to salvage, there was a date on the bottom of one of the drawers of August 10 190-?. But it was to far gone so I just saved scraps.
These were the raised panels on the sides.
A mix of old (the wood) and new (the little girl).
We traced her little paw on another panel and cut them out on the scroll saw, stained the hands light and the back ground is a very dark color.
The mothers loved the pieces!

This is a wonderful project. This will be something that will be treasured and passed on to her children.
Well done!!!
