I made these as part of my recent off-cut clearing program. Took all those thin long strips in my bin, laminated them together randomly and ended up with some interesting looking planks (mostly oak, bubinga, cedar, mahogany, cherry and walnut). Made a box of some of the thicker material. The rest became lids for three mahogany boxes. Finished with Danish oil and wipe on Poly. Two are gifts for a dear friend. The third sold off my workbench to a visitor that saw me finishing it. Thanks for looking.

Really nice looking. The woods work well with each other.

Nice idea and you found another way to make use of the “clutter.”

Great use of your scraps. I can’t believe how well that glue up worked with those Irwin clamps!

Very nice mixture of woods. That glue-up did come out very well.
