To join the thousands of cutting board posts, I’m adding my two, as well. But I got tired of building and seeing the checkerboard patterns and decided to do a few that are just clean and simple.
These two were made with only purpleheart.
One board has a bit of a checkerboard pattern…I like the plain board the best….no handles – just chamfered the edges, again giving these boards a nice, sleek look.

Looks nice Spike.
I like the large chamfer on the bottom.

Nice, I like the monochrome boards. I always wondered what a purple heart board would look like!

Very nice color. I also like monochrome, or not too contrasting collors.
