My daughter has always wanted a Cheval Mirror and finally bought a house with a bedroom big enough to accomidate it. This project was very enjoyable since she & my son-in-law helped me build it. The frame is made with red oak, the raised panel inserts are hard maple. For color we found a wood dye that matched their bedroom suit pretty close and put a couple of coats of General Finishes Arm-R-Seal Urethane.

That is really sweet, Jerry.
Can’t tell but, is it angled and narrower at the top?
The top with the stained glass is very classy.
Love the Mission style.
