Mcleanva’s bottle openers and some of the comments gave me the idea to put labels on them. I used Threadmaster lite thread finsh. TM is a two part epoxy used to coat the guidewraps on fishing rods. It dries hard but stays flexible so it should standup to everyday use. I will find out as these are gifts to my son and son-in-law. The third picture shows the finish being applied you have to rotate the object to keep the epoy from sagging while it cures, takes about 4 hours. I use an old rotisserie motor and a chuck I built for my fishing rod build and it worked great for the bottles.

Great looking bottle openers and a very creative solution using an old rotisserie motor to keep the finish from sagging while curing.
