At your fingertips on your desk, this pen, pencil, and letter opener is of Purpleheart with chrome kits. Finished with Hut PPP, satin and gloss. The base is a piece of Maple with a bit o Walnut trim to give it some dimension, and finished with some spray lacquer. I started to inlay the Walnut, but liked this idea better. Yes, it is a Christmas gift. Santa is on overtime.. Sheeesh!! Wasn’t last week the 1st of May??? Thnx fer the looks. Good, bad, and/or ugly comments are appreciated.

Outstanding Roger. I love the purple heart so much that I wish you had used it on the stand too. Either way a great looking product.
