I needed a tablesaw cutoff sled for my new Delta tablesaw, and finally got around to building one.
It’s amazing how many pages you get when you search for “Sled” ... wow
With many thanks to John Nixon’s Eaglelakewoodworking, and many others on this board who inspired
my ideas…
Now I need a flipstop, and a couple other goodies…
This sled was 1/2” melamine for the base, with a Rosewood front fence, and a redwood
laminated rear fence… and I added a couple Rockler pieces for functionality.
Blade catcher/stop block at the rear is next…

Looks like you will get years of use, from you “slick” sled!!!
A sled is on my very long “To-Do” list. This helps to motivate me and move it up the list.

great sled ,my old one is worn out the runners and am just going to build a new one the references you gave are good ones ,thanks for sharing and a great job
