Nice job Dale.
You don’t happen to remember which issue of Wood magazine?
Thanks.

Very nice. I found out recently that my oldest daughter is expecting her first. Also, my first grandchild. So, I’m expecting that I will have to build something. I’m also wondering which issue this is in. Thanks.

Thanks for the kind words. It took awhile, but I found it. It was a special editon of WOOD called “America’s best-ever woodworking projects & shop tips 2006”, page 72. A lot of great projects in that book.

very nice, I did the same cradle for my little one. It has held up nicely, and he loves swinging in it.

Brought tears to my eyes, I made two of these in oak for my twins while I was in graduate school back in ‘91. They had to stay in the neonatal intensive care for 11 days before they got to lay down in them. Used them for two more children and my nephews since then. Still upstairs in the bonus room.
I’ve kept only 3 woodworking magazine issues over the years since the late 70’s: the first issue of Woodsmith, the first issue of Wood, and the issue of Wood with this cradle on the front.
The twins are in college now, should come home for break today or tomorrow. Thanks for making me smile today.
