I had this really tacky thing that hung on my wall to hold the chisels I was using at that time and my measure tape and pencil and safety glasses. I think I put 5 minutes in that while frustrated that I kept setting things down and then have to hunt for it.
While sitting there in the shop just taking a breather I looked at the scraps from a few projects just laying around. So out of it I came up with this.
Main focus was the chisels. I did not want them to be able to move side to side to hit each other, so the holder for that was dado’ed out to fit each size so they fit comfortably. The overall size was actually dictated by the size of scraps I had. It came in a just shy of 3 foot long and 2 feet tall. It has become quite the handy addition to my small 1 car garage work area. Everything I am using per day/project seems to fit there hanging above my work bench. Thanks for looking!
