A friend’s horse passed away recently. I built her a chair in memory of the horse.

Another horse at the farm recently died. He was 36 yrs old!. His registered name was Yellow Iris Steveson, so I made the chair for the owner for Christmas. The flowers are made fm 1/4 in birch ply.

Love the chair, and it’s a lot safer than the horse.

She was deeply moved. There’s a brass plaque right in the middle I had engraved with a message. The hardest part was painting it.
