Now I need to make another one to match. It is cherry and walnut with a lacquer finish. The wood was cut off my grandpa’s timber. I tried to bring the leg up through the table top but I didn’t like, so I sanded it off. It took me about a month or so of Saturdays and a few after work nights.

I like the extra on the legs. Well built.

Nice leg ornamentation – where did that idea come from? Looks very strong, chunky drawer and thick legs…solid.

I just wanted the legs to look a little bulky by the feet and that is what I came up with.
