Project Information

I made wine glass stems as a gift and then decided to throw in a few stoppers as well, but then it hit me, why put all this work into something which is more than likely just going to get stuck in a cabinet or tossed in a drawer and will be forgotten and never see the light of day again, so i decided to make a little stand for them,,, unfortunately i only had 30 mins to do it in and of course i ahd left my router on a jobsite so i used the table saw to do a pseudo chamfer on the stand. The stand is all cherry, and the glass stems are walnut, and both have copper fillings near the top of them stem one due to natural voids, and one due to some not so natural voids. The stoppers are from walnut cherry and spalted maple.

Your post says you made these glasses? As in you do glass work? If so very cool.

I wish, I was misspoken, I merely added the walnut stems to the glass part.
