Oak Book case

Project by surfdude posted 560 days ago 396 views 0 times favorited 7 comments Add to Favorites Watch

Mother of invention equals design.
With a mountain of books needing a home, I put together this book case for the home office.
48×33 x 15. Fixed middle shelf, red oak home made moldings. Perfect for the home office with big heavy art books. Finished with a red oak and several coats of wipe on poly. Nice and solid.

This is not only a functional piece but it is also a beautiful one too. It would compliment any home’s decor.

The trim on it looks pretty good as well.

Well done. Thanks for the post.

well done. I’d give it a 5 star rating myself. I do like the narrower risers. makes feel of the panel stand out more.
