In South Africa we can buy firewood for a braai (barbecue) from the locals from roadside stalls. I saw that this piece had some nice grain and decided to do something with it. End result was a wine bottle balancer to which I added the Big 5 of African game (Elephant, Tiger, Lion, Buffalo and Rhino) Unfortunately Rhino may soon become extinct due to excessive poaching. Just the horn is cut of which is exported to Vietnam by syndicates from Vietnam. A Rhino may sold for as much as $500 000 US in Vietnam because of a stupid believe that Rhino horn is good for a mans virility. (Sorry just blowing of some steam here)

‘n Baie mooi projek George. En ek stem saam met jou oor die renoster situasie.

(Beautifull Project George. And I agree with you on the Rhino issue)

Beautiful work . That’s one of the few topics I would join you on the soap box for! So many people are selfish and shallow. They’re a detriment to the planet.

Great job! Your project tile caught my eye. I was in South Africa (Giyanai & Johannesburg – Palmridge township) also spent a week in Chibuto, Mozambique back in September on a mission trip. Blessings.
