This weekend I wanted to clear out some off-cuts. I made some into boxes which I will post here later. I started off by cutting short left over 1/2” walnut, bubinga, cherry and maple into 2”squares. Had no idea what they were going to be. Once cut I glued them to a piece of 1/2” maple. At this point I was thinking maybe a tray of some sort. Was the ugliest glue up ever! After it was sanded and cleaned up it let me know in no uncertain terms that it wanted to be an end table. I edged the top with Zebra and made the legs from mahogany. It is a busy little table but I am very happy with how it turned out. Thanks for looking.

Its amazing what the end result is in wood-working projects. I can hear that glue-up now, screaming at ya…I’M A TABLE TOP!

Nice work.
