Nothing special here. The store-bought metal stands were worn out after years of use and many users. Stands are solid hickory, pocket-hole joined, with a non-descript laminate top. Finished with natural oil.

My dog food holders have never failed me at shows. Everyone likes them. Good job on these.

Nice job! I’ve got a new great Dane pup and I’m gonna have to build one of these before long. What is the height of these?

Thanks Mike. These are 17” high. My dogs are malaumutes and huskies. So, you may want to make yours a little taller – one of the mals is pretty big (168 pound, which is huge for a mal), but everybody else is in the 80-90 pound range.
