First picture a Christmas present for a nephew. Made from Oak with a spray laqueur finish. The wheels were bought in. The second picture was my first attempt, using scraps of Pine I had lying around. My daugther loves these and they are well played with. Due to pine not being ideal, they have been repaired numerous times in the last year. Plans from Norm Marshalls Great Book of Wooden Toys

It’s all small children need. Great job.
