Very interesting piece. Is the stain glass back lit?

What a beautiful piece … Why did you put the art glass on the bottom? I really like the large pane glass doors, they draw the eye to the cabinet and not to the doors. Great job.

Grumpy, I know you probably can’t tell in the picture, but the stain glass panels are sliding doors. The cabinet’s purpose is to display the lighthouses my brother-in-law has collected over the years. I wanted to also have a place where he could store whatever lighthouses that didn’t make the shelves.

Beautiful cabinet.Display cabinets are some of the most ubiquitous cases for prized possessions and collectibles. They don’t just function as simple organizational tools. They call attention to whatever is in them from far away. They enhance every d├ęcor, while showcasing what is important to you.
