the wife wanted something different in the living room so i came up with this step shelf. some birch ply faced with pine. and alot of pocket holes! and yes, alot easier to plug the pocket holes before you stain! as i did not do that here, oh well, whats an extra few hours of fine sanding and touch up staining.

Great job on this unique shelf. The contrasting woods give it class and the constructin methods give it strength.
Oh, BTW my wife said that she really liked it too. (That opinion carries alot of weight around here).
