I dismantled a sofa that was headed for the dumpster and was delighted to find some red oak :) I cut off what was salvageable and pulled the remaining staples. I was left with this. Nearly the exact same dimensions as the last one. (again, picture the loaf of bread as a freshly baked loaf of banana nut bread…mmmmm)

Must of been a lot of work to prepared the wood for the board.

Did you get the wood from pallets? Good job…..just taking the nails out would have been a chore!
