First time woodworking since I left highschool, 20+ years ago. Knotcurser made me a board last year for my wife for Christmas and he inspired me to start “Collecting” some tools and some nice wood and here I am. This is my first board, walnut and hard maple. Just picked up some more Maple, Walnut and Purple Heart this morning and am looking forward to making some more boards. Wife wants a new kitchen table, think old, farmhouse type with 8/4 oak top, distressed with dark stain, looking forward to that one. Cheers!
