This was a job I just did for a challenge for me for a client here in Black Mountain. He had a great picture with a weathered picture frame and was looking for a table and could not fine the right one so I custom made one.
It matched perfect and looked outstanding to.

Looks great. Where did you find the wood (old crate, pallet, etc…)?

Looks good. Is the shotgun of some significance? :-)

Good looking table! I’m guessing the shotgun is a Rem 870 or Mossberg standard pump.

OK , The shotgun has no significance in the table other than when i delivered the table i was with my 7 year old son and he proceeded to ask my customer ” why do you have a gun” That I can say was the first time that has ever happened delivering furniture in 16 years!
The lumber was from a place near me here in Black Mountain,NC and was from a barn the was taken down and was Oak and the naturally weathered wood. This is not something I plan on doing much in the future but,was fun to try and have come out with the customer completely blown away so that was fun.
