Asian Style Candle Holders ....Homage to Kiefer and his design. I have made five of these candle holders, with slight variations, to give as Christmas gifts. These are constructed of Padauk and African cherry…. and solid surface counter top material. Two of them have a depression for the candle cups, and one is drilled through, to allow the candle cup to hang below the surface. The third one in the row has battery operated tea lights….they really work quite nicely. All will work with votive or tea light size candles. They are about 12×4 inches, with the horizontal elements dadoed into the legs, which have a 10 degree slant. Finished with spray poly.
The second picture is with the LED battery powered tea lights…..they do flicker!

John, do you think the heat from the candles will effect the solid surface material? Will it sag or darken? Lots of small pieces here…keep safe. I like the look and the design. Nice work.
