A commissioned Christmas gift for a special young man. Body is solid Mahogany, Axles are Oak, I had to use Baltic Birch ply for the windshield after 3 tries with various woods.
The driver and passenger have magnets in their butts, and I put a magnet in the seat, they cannot occupy each others as the magnets repel. Maybe the passenger is too young to drive. Mahogany is oiled with a spray gloss finish.
9” bumper to bumper 5” wide, 2 1/4” wheels.

Great looking jeep…looks allot like the one setting in our driveway, but your tires seem larger…I like it

Just curious… did you do the opposing magnets on purpose? Or was it just the way you put ‘em in and realized it after?
Depending on his age, your little buddy probably wont take long before he starts telling folks who ask why the riders cant sit in each other’s seats… “Because THIS ONE is the girl, and she cant drive a Jeep” :-)

G’Day “meaded”,
What a superb looking Jeep, very realistic.
The timber colour mix & detail is excellent, well done.
Is the build a your own design or from a plan??
Cheers, crowie
