Admittingly…I cheated in that I didn’t have to make tons of cuts. But I saw the idea on a Lowes’s website and couldn’t resists taking my own swing at it. If I had to place the level of difficulty on a scale with ten being the most difficult; my little wooden tree would get a three. But hey!!! I made it with my bear hands with wood and I can look it all this Christmas season!!! I even went a step further and gave my little wooden Christmas tree a beautiful bow. ;-)

I have yet to get over that “get back” from my first project when using the saw; so I decided to take it a bit slower and try to “work up” to certain things. I’m such a girl!!! Geez!!!

Thanks for taking a peek!!!

Great idea for a decoration. Have you tried making tea candle holders. You’ll find a several here on Lumberjocks. This is one of mine. It’s just some off cuts of scrap wood, sanded and some tung oil rubbed in for finish and some 1 1/2” holes drilled to hold the tea candles. Just don’t set the candles close to your tree…
