I like your choice of wood for the top. I have built some of these. It looks like a Woodsmith plan. If you lengthen the feet and widen the sides, you can show more quilts. I made one for four. Excellent job on the pegged tenons. I use oak also but peg it with walnut. bbqking

bbqking, You are correct about the magazine, do you have any pics of the expanded racks that you made?
Thanks!

My wife just started quilting, we have been looking at these racks. This looks nice. I like bbqking’s idea of widening the sides so you can add more quilts to display. Adding the walnut for pegs also sounds like something to true.

This is a beautiful rack that compliments the gorgeous quilt.
Very nice.

I have a friend that has made some quilts. I’ve got that same Woodsmith magazine and hopefully I can get one of these built for her for this Christmas.
Yours came out great, I hope I can get close to what you have here.

Thank you all for the kind words.
Kip, your wall mounted design is just what my wife wants when we move to the new house. Since most wall space is already taken in our current home, I use a fairly flat design for her small quilts to be displayed. I just posted another project to show that design.
