Here is a fun project for the holiday decorating season the I came across online.
I made mine from scrap 2×6 that I had laying around.
All you have to do is rip them into 3/4 thick strips and layout a few lap joints (they call for pocket holes).
I originally was going to light them up but that wouldn’t work with the garage door going up and down.

You can find the step by step instructions at the link below.

Have fun and Merry Christmas!!
Jim

Wow! I thought those things were almost Photoshopped because they jump out at you so much. Cool!

Looks good. That’s about how much snow we have also.

-- Mother Nature created it, I just assemble it.

They look kinda dorky on the workbench and look awsome on the garage door. (That’s a compliment)............

The white paint really sets them off.

I would copy these, but most folks around here (in AZ) wouldn’t know what they are (smug little chuckle)

These really look good on your door. Great build.

Yeah, when I lived in SE North Dakota the snow got deep enough to have covered them on the garage door a few times!

BEST KIND OF SNOW FLAKES I HAVE EVER SEEN!

Great JOB!
