Oven rack push/pull sticks for the cooks.

One is Zebra wood. One is Purple Heart and Oak. Both are 14 inches long and finished with spray shellac. I used Tightbond I on the one glue up.

Shop dog thinks they look like bones…........................

Nice job! How do I get on that list? I cook too.

Really though, they look great! How does the finish hold up when push/pulling a hot oven rack? I know that my pizza peel smoked the first couple of time using it until the butcher block wore/burned off.

Watch the dog ! They are way too nice to be turned into chew sticks !

Clever idea. I can smell the fresh-baked cookies now.

Neat gift idea! Do you give them singly, or as a pair?

Hmmm, I may need to steal that idea. I’ve got a Pastry Chef daughter.

Thanks,
Dimensions?? 14” long and about 1/2” wide or whatever will fit between the racks. I thought it should be longer but my wife said no about the one I made a few months ago.
I am really liking the zebra wood also. I made a stained glass frame a few months ago and found out how great the grain can look…..........................

Fancy lil tools for the kitchen. Nicely done. Does the finish burn at all when these touch a rack?
