If you saw my other project, the wooden safe, then you know that these locks were for a welding instructor at my collage. The first lock is opened with the key, and can only be opened with the key. These locks are my favorite because when you lock it you get a nice little snap. The second lock is a combination lock, the combo is the birthday of his grandkid. turned knob and burned numbers. The last lock is also unlocked with a birthdate. You push in the birthdate and presto it’s unlocked. The keyed one is my favorite. It stands 10” tall and is made of cuttoffs from a friends porch, it’s from Brazil. The combo it 11” tall and it oak. The button one is maple and oak.

Nice job on the locks!

I have built the same locks also.

If you would like to see how these locks work, and how they are built, see my web site.

Thanks
