Christmas Boxes 2012

These are some boxes that I just finished made from some salvaged walnut and a figured maple board that a friend gave me. One is a birthday present and the other two are Christmas presents.

Good boxes that you then took to a new level with the carving and the feet. Thanks for sharing these. More ideas for when I retire to woodworking full time!

I have to admit that I’m not really fond of the legs, but that’s all about individual taste.
The entire box is beautifully crafted. I especially like the carving on the tops – simple but makes a big statement!
