Wow! You’ve done a fantastic job!! If this is your first attempt, then you’ve got it made!! I love the way you’ve put the black top on with the contrasting flower… very cool. What did you use for the black behind the flower?

i really like the curly maple…and the flower on top turned out amzingly especially with the balck back ground…

I wish I could get my miters that tight. Beautiful box. I like the shading on the edge of the marquerty leaves.

Thanks you all, as far as the top goes Iam not sure what it is. It was in a variety pack of veener I used a grain filler on it. The black reminds me of the Lilly ponds at longwood gardens in PA.
