This is my new lathe a Powermatic 3520B. The project is just a simple little candle holder. I had to use the centers because I thought the threads inside the Nova G3 chuck would fit my lathe without an insert but it was to big. I had to order an 1 1/4×8 insert which should be here Monday. I had an old clamp on desk lamp so I built a mounting block and inserted in the comparator bracket. Werks great. Looking forward to turning some bigger bowls than possible on the old Craftsman.

This thing is so smooth & solid compared to the Craftsman. It is so convenient to raise the RPM with the knob when a faster speed is possible. All the controls werk great.

Thanks Bill. I used a 1980s lathe until I bought the new one. It has turned a pile of wood.
