1st try at making a wooden hand plane

I just had taken a course at Lee Valley on how to make a Krenov hand plane. The course was great and the plane works well until not knowing how to adjust the blade very well yet the blade fell out and hit the concrete floor. Guess ill have to get some foam squares for the floor.

Yea, you’ll need to sharpen that again. The plane looks great though.

Doesn’t look like a first attempt to me! Get that blade fixed and let’s see some shavings! A Krenov plane (or three) is on my list after being given one for Christmas two years ago.
