Carved Walnut Desk for Ladies

This was another attempt at adding ‘movement’ to a project that involved a lot of carving. The desk is solid black walnut, and each ‘wavy’ side started out as 10/4” walnut slabs. The pieces were put together before the carving started, and it was sort of a beginner’s attempt to duplicate some type of cloth like the overhang of a tablecloth. You get the idea.
