First Picture Frame, using molding planes

This is my first attempt at making a picture frame completely with molding planes. It was a lot of fun. I made the frame out of poplar and finished it with primer and wax. I wanted it to have a distressed look. I am not a big fan of distressed, but I am quite pleased with how the frame turned out. I have been building a collection of molding planes and this is the first real project that I Have made completely with molding planes.

That is a nice looking frame – tight miters too.

It look great and sound like loads of fun using nothing but the molding planes.
