This is my version of the cat bandsaw box, thanks to Larry for allowing me to copy his design, I free handed this pattern via a print copy of Larry’s box from LJ it also has the same measurements as Larry’s 13” x 4” x 7” made from Spalted Hackberry, I got lucky when piecing this cut boards together as the wood pattern lined up perfect on the end grain edges it was un-planed just happened that way, it has four large drawers with one Hidden drawer located in the center large drawer. I created this box as a gift for a friend that has came to my aid when in need for various things.
Thanks for looking

Nice looking box Randy. I really like the wood you used. I had to go back and look at pictures of the one I made. I have made a couple more of the same designs for customers. The cat box and the Chicken box have really gone over well. Glad you were able to used the design to make a lovely box.

Blackie, nice job as always. The photos are well done too. You and Larry have a great design here. You are on sort of a Hackberry roll lately. It is beautiful stuff. You should do a blog for us about setting up a bandsaw to do such beautiful work. What kind of blade and guides do you use? Keep boxing and keep posting.
