The majority of the chest is Jatoba. The doors are lacewood with jatoba rails and stiles. The accents are made from Statin wood also known as Yellow Heart. The drawers are similarly assembled with lacewood making up the panel and jatoba making up the rails and stiles. Wenge was used to make up the outer stiles of the cabinet. The finish is just many thin layers of seal coat.

I don’t quite know what style this reminds me of – sort of a craftsman/Asian flare I guess.
Whatever it is, it’s simply magnificent! Quite the fantastic job in design and build!
Keep up the great work.

I love the simple lines and the color of the wood. Great job.
