Built to fit a space in a teen room next to her bed, and to fit under the window and match its length. Made of solid oak and painted black per the clients request (to match other furniture in the room). I hate to paint over oak but in this case the grain is still evident. I have to give a plug for a new product that I used to finish this..Krylon Dual – Paint and Primer – Satin finish (spray – from Walmart). 2 coats of this + 2 coats of spray of poly with some light sanding with 320 is what you see. I was very pleased with how it finished out. So was the client.

Nice job, I agree hard to paint but what ever the customer wants allows us to get paid.
