Got this idea for a new design for banjo bridges, having the extra soundboard foot on each side will add strength and increase sound. I make a half lap joint for it and epoxy the joint which makes it rock solid. The osage orange one i carved the main bridge from end grain with an ebony brace and a buffalo horn tip. The other 2 are made from cow bone. These are a little harder to make then the traditional banjo bridge`s i do, but look great and perform well. I really like the look of that osage end grain and plan on doing more of those.
