Made this set of built in bookshelves for my home office. Plywood with poplar faceframes and cherry for the window seat top. Built four identical bookshelf carcasses and made sure to drill all the shelf pin holes so that the shelves would all line up neatly. Ended up inverting the two sets of shelves on the right during assembly, but didn’t notice I’d put them together upside down until the cases had been installed. Oops. Ended up filling and redrillng all the shelf pin holes on the right-side cases. Window seat top is made of cherry and finished with Tried and True oil/varnish mix. It lifts up to a storage compartment with a false bottom.

Great addition to the room, looks real good.

The entire build looks nice, but I particularly like the cherry contrast against the white.
