Heat Gun Stand

My wife is a Stampin-UP demonstrator/manager, and needed a safe
place to put her heat gun, while in use, and for storing safely while
it cooled down.
So I put together a prototype in white MDF, and once we settled
on small changes, I made the final in some oak scrap pieces I had.
A couple coats of wipe-on poly is all it needed.

Nice looking little stand… One word of caution though. Storing a heat gun tip-down, especially for cool-down, can shorten the life of the gun, as the residual heat will rise back into the unit when the blower is off, and over time this can cause damage to the components inside.

Have your say...
