i was working for a local lady in the surveying capacity and i asked about renting a building for my wood working equipment so i could move my shop. thats when her and my boss got to talking about some things i had built. well she asked for a price on making her a plant table out of the least expensive wood with a cherry finsh. gave her my estimate and i told her our local hardwood center was going out of business and that it would not be a whole lot more just to construct out of cherry. well thats the route she wnt and this is what it ended up looking like. table is solid cherry with a danish oil finish. top has 3 coats of finishing wax and the legs have a hand rubbed poly finish. this was my first attempt at tapered legs. thanks for loking and any comments.

For a first attempt at tapered legs, I’d say you’ve got it down pretty good. Nice build.
