Truck Storage Sled

I have been thinking about building some pull out storage for my truck for some time now. Opening deer season was two weeks ago here in Indiana, and so the day before heading to the cabin to hunt, I settled on a design and built it in about 2 hours. My design revolves around 3” castors, and is surprisingly smooth and steady. I didn’t need to even anchor it down to the truck.

There is room under the pull out storage sled for my gun cases. I may tinker with another design that has pull out drawers on the bottom portion for tool/gun storage with a lock.

Good luck in the sticks, Mike. Let us know what you harvest.
