This chest of drawers belonged to my wife’s grandmother. It has been constructed on a budget with minimal tools I suspect. I have nailed things together before but I decided not to reassemble with nails and dowelled insted. I did away with the negative overhang also and added 20mm 0ver the front and sides.
The sides are elm because I had some and I was a bit naughty and left the bottom drawer full of bug holes but treated with CRC.
I lacquered the finished piece after having stained with Brown Oak NGR spirit based stain.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IhJYTRVxRLM&list=UUBJ_un-58R1Au7CSKwVIv4w&index=12&feature=plcp
If you muddle your way through my youtube channel or look on my ljs videos you will find the other 3 parts.
Thanks for comments and have a great day.
Andy.
