I’ve dyed the rain deer amber, painted the sleigh red with black runners. I turned two christmas trees, the small one is made from pine, the large is from poplar. I also turned a snowman from a 2 inch hardwood dowel from home depot. I then glued or screwed all pieces onto a half inch piece of pine plywood painted white.
If I have time, I may paint some little blocks of wood to look like wrapped presents.

How did you cut the reindeer? The last woodworking show I attended (been a while….) someone was cutting them out free hand, fast as you could follow, using a bandsaw. I think they were selling Timber Wold blades, maybe.
I may try to turn a tree, just saw that somewhere.
