Never seen anything like that before. I guess I’ve led a shealtered life.

Looks pretty cool.

You did a great job. I recently purchased a book that give the history of Molesworth. I hope to make a Molesworth bedroom set some day. Keep up the great work

Fun! You just need the antler handles. I want to make one of these too. Hmmm. Need to buy a log cabin to go with it.

You did well on this piece. To tell the truth I had never heard of this style until I saw Norm do a reproduction on the NYW. You executed a good design and construction with this project.

Well done.

Thanks for the post.

Gentlemen, thanks. You who know what you’re doing with wood are being nice.

The truth? I used junk wood for this project. Construction grade plywood, crappy cheap pine and whatever else was lying on the floor of my shop. I wanted to make my mistakes on the first sideboard before purchasing good quality wood for the next sideboard. This is my prototype.

Thanks for the kudos but if you were here looking at this project, you’d be thinking, “Used junk wood, huh?” And for someone such as myself, who is still learning how to join wood properly, this was a challenge. It took me 2 years to find the courage to try this project.
